Passengers side parking light wasn't working so I popped in a new bulb. No change - turn signal works. Reach up to wiggle the connections a little and the wires were very hot. I turned off the lights right away. Any thoughts? Bad ground maybe. I am not usually permited to touch electrical things. My son thinks I never received the electronics gene.

Yeah there has to be a short there somewhere. NOT a bad ground this time. Heat comes from current flow and if those wires are warm - you got current going somewhere other than to the light filaments.

Both park lights and tail lights are brand new. But, you both think it has to do with the unit and not the wiring? I will pull it out tonight and check for that kind of issue. I was strictly thinking wiring since the turn signal works OK. Thanks.
