Performance exhaust upgrade (muffler?)

Hello gang,
I've notice that the original factory exhaust mufflers have rusty holes starting to grow. So, I'm searching around for exhaust/muffler options. For a c3 era, what muffler system do you have? Why? Does it sound grrrrrrrreat? Does it increase HP at all?

Chambered Exhaust System

Hi Andy,

I have the chambered exhaust from Mid America Motorworks. I love it... low rumble at idle - not too noisy, but absolutely turns heads at acceleration. It comes in a kit and is a fairly easy install... check it out at: http://www.madvet.com/shop?frame=1.1293

Welcome to the CAC, Andy.

Do a search of the C3 forums here for "mufflers exhaust" or some variation thereof. You should find plenty of threads. I know this topic was visited rather heavily just about a month or two ago. You might also throw "headers" in the search, or "dual exhaust".

Or, just scroll down the list of threads in both this section and the general C3 section. You'll come across plenty of threads.
