Phase III / LT-1 Poll

For Valentines day, my wife surprised me by having my 72 numbers matching, factory A/C LT-1 ripped out of it's warm and dry garage and dragged off to a strange shop for a a paint job I was going to put off for yet another year. (Hey, 30 foot paint jobs are ok!!!). All with our me knowing it. After I stopped throwing up :puke , from being told that the flat bed driver guy couldnt get her started (doesnt anyone look at the battery compartment) and dragged her so pitifully on to the bed, by her ass no less, and knocking over my $225 frontgate mail box during the get away (I ahve a lot to tell my therapist this week for sure!!!), I Started to consider the possibilities.
* Stock paint
* A little custome stuff: Stripes and side pipes.
* Hog wild to include custom color, sidepipes, flares, L** hood, Phase Three stripes.

As I said it is a numbers matching car, sans for the suspension, headers, hurst comp plus, Harmonic balancers, trailing arms, wheeels.

So what should I do? ;shrug

Damm whish i had a wife or even a g/f like that.. Side pipes a must i love that look..

Do whatever makes you happy. My 72 is matching numbers, but I played with it a little by adding the LT-1 hood and some engine Mods.

Our 75 was a matching number car that is now all over the corvette world with parts from all different years from 659 to 96. The was matching numbers, but beyond savable as a matching number car.

The bottom line is my wife and I love them both, and since we have no intention of selling either, we added our own personal touches. The only one you have to please is yourself.

My wife is similar in that she is really into the hobby now and that makes it easier especially when it is her 75 that is getting the attention.
