Anyway, good pics. what type of intake is that? Looks like there is no cover over the 3 filters. Or is it one of the clear ones. And If it's clear, have you had any problems with the plastic melting?

That's my nephew Zack. He spoke up (which is not uncommon for him ) during the sound clip so I said "what the heck" and left it in there.

You know, that clip is a little deceptive. In actuality the exhaust (to me) has a much deeper note than that but, that is what the digital camera picked up so that is what I got.
I may re-record it using Lisa's laptop and see if the quality is any better cuz when I hear that I think, "my car doesn't sound like that!"

Yes, Magnaflow...very little resonance in the car and only at very low rpms (which my car rarely sees... )

Actually, we don't have one but I'm sure someone we know does.
You're right...that would obviously be the best way to capture a sound clip.

Specialty Autosound in Tempe is where I got the mounting kit. It is all metal and much better than the plastic ones w/ the pocket. Below the deck on the face plate (center) I had a switch for the antenna mounted so I can control it manually and it isn't up when I'm playing cds (which is 90% of the time).

Great pics, and the sound clip is awesome! You're right about the real sound is a bit deeper with the Magnaflows, still that gives a great representation of what we have! Your Vette looks as nice as I imagined.
