Picture request: flared fenders on a '78-'82

I got the headlights from Tracy Performance in Roseville, MI.

OT Best Flares on a C3

Particularly the rear flares... I think that my earlier "wider fender" idea would work best on the front. I'm sort of curious what it would look like, with wide fenders up front and flares like those in the rear...

But I'm probably going to have to keep wondering, since I really can't vizualize it.

Wide fenders up front and flares in the rear would most likely suck, this because it would give the front a much fatter or wider appearance. If you need wider stuff on the front and rear I'd say go w/ all flares.

I need flares too:

Before anyone tells me that the scoop is on backward, I Know!
This picture was taken when I purchased the car. The front tires are 265/15's and the rear tires are 345/15's with room for a larger tire.

a backwards scoop :) that's interesting

Another thought...

What would a Shark look like with flared rears and non-flared fronts (or, only small flares up front)? I really don't think that tires larger than 255 are needed in the front, but they wouldn't fill the flare properly, since they fit under the stock fenders.

search for Lasses Corvette he has flared rears and stock front fenders

Like Twinnie I like the early style flares better, BUT I have to admit that these mudflap style flares looks so darn cool on this red 76 coupe:
