Planning a trip to Texas in the near future for a few upgrades...

WOW! Must be some tax return :chuckle

A couple days in TEXAS and you will wonder why you live in Missouri ;)

I'll let the Texas Rangers know to be on the lookout for ya :D :lou

Bud - I make money the old time way, working, Tax Refunds are saved for retirement...

JR - From my understanding they are not, but I'll have a lifetime warranty on them and the CORSA Xtreme exhaust system. :thumb

If Shooter spends a couple of days in Texas.....THEY will know why he lives in MO and escort him back! :boogie:boogie:boogie:boogie

A Very Nice Selection

Dwayne,
The mods should get you around thirty additional horse power. Much of the gain will come from the dyno tuning which is the only way you can maximize the value of these mods. It looked like the new header set up will not have high flow cats. That being said, the tuners will have to make appropriate electronic work arounds to satisfy GM's post cat 02 sensor parameters.

In addition you should expect to get some serious increase in exhaust noise regardless of which exhaust system you use out back. Just keep in mind that you will be flowing much more air (more volume = more sound).;)

Remo - It'll be much more that 30 HP gain, I currently have an LS1 tune in my LS6 with LS1 low flow cats.

Anthony said their dyno-tune should give me right at 400 RWHP when all is said and done! :thumb

Apparently my remote viewing skills are beginning to slip. I was unable to sense the LS1 tune. The 30 HP remark was centered on just the LT's and Corsa exhaust. 400 RWHP will be a smok'in hot ride.:thumb

The LG longtubes will definitely increase the noise level. :L

They were a bear to get in, I did all the work myself. I just can't see paying someone else to do it for me.

I put down 366 to the rear wheels.

They're stainless...don't really need coating?

That's what I was told, that if they're stainless, they'll be fine.

One thing though that after I run the AC and shut the car off, the water will drip onto the headers and make a cool hissing sound. :D

All I can tell you is that my cousin got his coated and his look much better than ones I've see that aren't. I'm talking about discoloration and such.

Looking forward to the visit.....

I can see it now.....Rangers chasing D up I-35 as he looks to find out what 400hp at the rear does on the speedo......film at 11 ;LOL

Knowing Dwayne like I do, there is a lot of truth in that statement. I'm not really sure how many states he has received a ticket in, but I can tell you its more than one. :D
