plug wires

hello everybody, ever since i've gotten this vette i have found things that just don't seem right to me. not being mechanically inclined i can still kinda see stuff that seems like the person who owned this car didn't give a ****. today i noticed that 6 plug wires are with long boots and 2 have short boots. is this supposed to be this way? they look like different brands too. there are a few more things ( painted whole car and over the emblems,many bolts and screws missing, spare tire flat and bald, etc) . will this plug wire issue hurt my car and what is a good set of wires to put in? thanks, curley

Well, I can say that my brand new set of plug wires had two different styles of boots. So what you have may be correct!

thanks very much for the info, i guess you might be right about these wires. my car doesn't run bad or anything like that so i am doing ok. but i think i will get some new plugs and wires for a fresh start on my ride anyway. curley:cool
