I finished doing the Zaino thing last week. It took a couple of days ( no reason to rush it). Wash, claybar, wash, 3M adhesive remover, wash, Z2,Z6,Z2,Z6,Z2,Z6. Car looks great- I didn't vote cuz I haven't had this car long enough, but its interesting to see what folks do.

I went back to black on my current vette
and am using a hand crafted wax called
Lusso Oro it is made by the same folks
who developed some retail high end and
priced wax. It is refined white carnuba
and is great for reds, black and darker
colors. It is the best I found over 18
years of driving and caring for Corvettes.
check it out at LUSSO ORO.COM Met
the principals at the NCRS Orlando winter
meeting. Same people who sold the formula
to what is called Pinnacle wax at 60.00
a tub. Buy it from them for 25.00 same
stuff different lable.

Good Info! The site is www.Lusso.com

I wax my car (Meguiar's) every-other wash....which equals about once a month depending on how much I drive it. It's a garaged car that sees the road about twice a month during non-winter months (more often in the summer). I usually have it professionally buffed once a year (if necessary) to keep the suface baby soft. It looks better now than it did when I rolled her out of the showroom!

One of the main reason I don't drive my car as often as I would like is because of the effort that one has to put in to keep these cars looking the way that we (Vette owners) want. I want my car to look better than showroom everytime that I pull it out for a drive....that means a lot of work and less drive-time. I always keep a CA CarDuster in the garage but I've never tried the quick detailing sprays that a lot of you on this site speak of.....that sounds like a great idea and a perfect way for me to be able to enjoy my car more often inbetween washes. Looks like I'm off to the store to pick up a bottle tonight!:v

I didn't vote as I never use wax.
My cars get the Liquid Glass treatment 2-4 times a year depending on their usage.

That is a synthetic wax.... but I see your point.

At least every other wash. I wash after about every 3-4 drives which usually are well below 10 miles jaunts.
