Underneath the left headlight is a bunch of stuff Im not familliar with. I think its pollution control stuff..

My question is can I remove it?
Will it hurt my computer or fuel intake?
If I can can I eliminate the smog pump and use a smaller belt? (Im assuming thats the pump beside the alternator)
and what will I gain?

Here where I live I don't have to worry about pollution controls so that's covered..

However if I go to the States and get checked can do they anything about it because Im from a place that doesnt require pollution control?

(Hope not from my Carfax Im going to fail anyway LOL)

Some of the pollution control sensors send information to the computer. Will that cause conflicts when removed? If you remove any, save all the stuff. Also, don't forget he catlytic converter. The previous owner of my car removed the guts of the converter and sealed the air line. It took 3 failures at NJ emissions till I discovered the problem. I had to buy a new one at $150.
