Just wondering if anyone has used poly locs on stock studs and rockers.

And will the stock covers still fit, they come in 1', 1.3, 2 inch.

Thanks
Mart

Mart, I've been wonderin the same thing, only with Comp Cams Magnum roller tip ones, or their Pro Magnum ones. Anyone have any experience with these? Also, are there two different sized Dana 36 carriers, and if so, how can you tell them apart.?

Forgot to mention that I want to swap gears, to 373:1 ratio, and kinda remember reading something about different Dana 36's. Any help would be appreciated because I want to order the gears and proper installation kit.

Let's hope someone answers, Not sure on the carriers, there is the 36 and the 44 but I have not seen anything about two diff 36's

Looks like we were the only night owls, and early risers Mart, no one's chiming in just yet. I think I'll have a look back into the History section and maybe have some luck there, if this has already been covered.

I don't think poly locks will work with stock v/cvrs. Why do you want to use them with stock rocker arms?? What is the advantage?? These are normally used with roller type rockers and higher performance valve trains that use stud girdles and/or solid cams. Use on a stock rocker arm is okay but overkill especially if you have hydraulic lifters. I have, howvever, used them with Rhoades type variable lifters to better adjust the rocker arms and keep them in adjustment. Mainly this was to quiet the lifters down at idle and low RPM.
