I picked up this info from another site. After work last night I stopped at 4 different "newstands." None had the newest Popular Mechanics. Just checked the other site, they don't have pics posted there yet either . I'll keep checking. I was hoping some of you might have access to a copy??

Yes, I'd imagine that's true, since Dunne is an editor for Pop. Mechanics.

It is J. Dunne's shot. The shots from Autospies and LS1.com are actually better shots.

Got my newest Motor Trend and it too includes a couple of Dunne spy shots that we have seen before. No new information. In fact, they were quite subdued about any predictions this time around.

They also ran a comparo:
Lexus SC430 vs SL500 vs XLR

The XLR came in a very close second to SL, with Lexus farther back. I read it as if the Cad had bigger (but probably louder, not good in this market segment) tires it would have been a tougher call. MT pointed out how close the XLR came to knocking off the SL with a first ever model. They said all of the electronic gadgets worked well and the HUD was the best they had seen.
