POR 15 Application

Right now I have the front bumper cover off my 73 and I'm thinking I ought to paint all the rusted up metalwork thats now accessible. I've seen people here extoll the virtues of POR 15, but I have a couple of questions I'm looking for some help on:

1. how much surface prep do I need to do? A) None. B) remove the loose surface flakes. C) take it all back to bright metal.

2. do I paint over all the nuts and bolt heads with POR 15, and if so will I ever be able to undo them in the future?

POR-15 makes a pretreat that you need to spray on with a spray bottle and keep saturated for 1/2 hr.

-Prep by using a metal wire brush to remove any large particles (Do not use any Solvent type chemicals like carb or brake cleaner).
-Spray on the pretreat and keep moist with respray for 1/2 hr.
-Let this dry out completely.
-Get a crappy brush and paint on the POR-15.
-Let Dry.
-You are done. You can paint over POR-15 with anything you want if desired.

Sent you a PM. Gonna have to order this stuff today. Left you my cellular. I'd be happy to buy the Metal Ready and Solvent from you. I need to buy some of the Marine Degreaser too I think. Give me a call. If I don't hear from you I'm going to have to order from them today to make sure I get it in time for this weekend.
