Has anyone heard or have a power effects system on a zr1? I was thinking of putting a new cat back or removing the resonator and putting a H pipe and changing the stock mufflers. I have a 90 so I have the restricted resonator. Thanks for any input!

Some people like that exhaust. It's a bit pricey but it works well. Some really like how the tips look, too.

Wide open, Power Effects is one one of the cat-backs capible of the greatest power increase. Expectedly, it's also really loud when wide open.

When the exhaust is closed down so it's quiet, it can restrict as much or more than stock.

Thanks Hib, I have seen some post that guys liked them on c4's but nobody with the lt5. I wasnt concerned as much with the horsepower gain but more with the sound. I just dont want the rice burner or jet engine sound coming from the zr1. I do like the adjustability option on the power effects system. I know sound is a preference and in most polls on these forums I never see power effects listed? Thanks again for all your insight.
