I am experiencing an engine power outage on my 84. The other day I was wanted to see where my WOT shift points were for 1-2 and 2-3. After going WOT a couple times I noticed a hesitation starting to creep in when I tried to take off at moderate throttle or pick up speed at moderate throttle. It just started after I did those couple WOT trials. I tried resyncing the TB's but that didn't help and of course now my idle is too high. I did have directions in hand. I looked at the Fuel spraying out of the injectors and there was plenty of fuel coming out and at idle in park it takes the gas well. I am thinking maybe I stressed out my fuel pump or could it be the TB's are out of sync. I did play with the TB air screws when this first started happening and then this morning I synced them according to the directions I had from my shopkey computer. Like I said I am leaning towards the fuel pump cause other than a slightly higher idle(tach reads 7 in Drive) it idles smooth and very light acceleration and cruise speeds are smooth. Any help is greatly appreciated.
