Power Seat to Manual Conversion

Howdy Folks

I'm getting too old to keep repairing this 94 green machine.

Now the power drivers seat doesn't move anymore. Can still here the gears turning but no movement.

Chevy dealer wants me to mortgage the house and family to fix. Ecklers and MA Direct want $200 for reconditioned track.

I'm TALL and the wife is SHORT. Thought it might be a heck of a lot easier to change to a manual seat track. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hmmmmmm

Have you considered going the wrecking yard approach?

I'm not aware if a manual rack for the seats was available for the drivers side...

If you sell the car it would detract from the value
if you did this.

Or look in the recycler for somebody parting out a car, 1988 thru 1996 use the same rack.
