Power steering install - interesting find

So, I decided to put power steering in my 65. Bought the conversion kit and once you get it apart, you decide to redo everything in the front since you have it apart! :) Little project becomes a bigger project.

Anyway, the ball joints are riveted! So, could these really be the original ball joints? Just don't see them as able to be that old....

Its not a car that has been restored to factory spec - its a NOM 327.
 
most people bolt them but you can get the rivets and rivet them again.

So... maybe yes, maybe no. There are probably guys on here that know codes of original parts.

Thanks! I'll have them out this weekend and will check the codes. Not a big deal but surprised they could last that long!
