Power Steering Leak

Hey Everyone,

I have power steering fluid leaking from the fluid return hose. Is there supposed to be an O-ring where the hose attaches to the control valve?

Nope, no O-rings on the P/S fittings at the control valve or power cylinder - all are SAE inverted flare fittings.

If it's leaking at the fitting, remove the hose from the car and closely check the flared ends for cracks.

I guess i just over tightened it.

I took the hose off. Cleaned it. Put it back on.
Problem solved.
