Power steering lines on a 72-w/454

I purchased a power steering line kit from Zip Products, everything is right but the high pressure line. Where it screws into the pump the line is at a 90 degree angle,it hits the lower control arm, the factory line is bent at about a 45 degree angle, and obviously fits perfect. I really don't want to start bending the new line.Has anyone came across this problem, and how did you fix it? Or does anyone know where I can get the correct hose. Every Vette site seems to show the same hose ( all bent at 90 degrees). Thanks....Doug
