I am having trouble removing the power steering pump pulley on my '85. It has a torx head bolt, but the manual diagram doesn't show that and says that it is a pressed fitting. Does it just "pull" off with a puller, or does what appears to be a torx bolt come out first. I can't get the torx to budge, especially since there's no way to hold the pulley without screwing it up?

The pump works fine, but the pulley wobbles a little.

the spot where you are trying to put a torx is just for priming the pump all you need is a p/s pump pulley remover and also a installer tool . trying to remove it any other way will just make it more frustrating of a job , you should be able to find one of these tools at any napa store or tool supplier (snap-on)
