Power Steering Valve Question

I am working on rebuilding the entire power steering system as a first step in the rebuild of my ’69 convertible 350ci/350hp. The first picture is the before version. I disassembled and cleaned up the control valve and have a “spare” part problem.

In the attached picture, the white pen shows a washer that came out of the control valve but everything was such a mess that I didn’t note from where it came. I don’t see it in the assembly drawings in the overhaul manual nor in the parts manual. I think it goes above or below the large spring just above the washer in question but I really don't know. I would appreciate your help.

Found it!!

OK, thanks for your suggestion... I did another google search and found this link which very clearly described the entire rebuild sequence. I'm glad I found it, because I was wrong in my guess as to where the washer went.
