Anyone using Power Stop Rotors or heard any feedback by someone who has them? The price looks good which usually isn't a good sign. ;help

Yo! You can spend a grip on fancy Bear or Brembo brakes but their still not as good as Power Slot Rotors with carbon mettalic pads. The pads are rotor friendly and they stop on a dime. Plus drilled rotors have a tendency to crack and they massacre your pads in quick time. Scott

We have had the power slot rotors for about a year with the carbon metallic pads. The only complaint we have is they did rust in the center and required painting if your rims show the rotors. Stopping capability is great. We have been told to stay away from the cross-drilled as well.

I am thinking about going with slotted! Are these rotors, really good?

Thanks Wamp.

Did the rotors rusted in the same location as stock rotors rust, about an inch out from the inside diameter where the pad doesn't reach?

Do you drive in the rain? I rarely do and I am hoping that the rust that is present is the result of a previous owner driving in inclement weather.

The rims I have do show a lot of the rotor, so appearance is an important part of the upgrade as well as performance. I may have to paint that area as you have.

Yeah just paint the bad boys no big deal! The performance and durability is unmatched. Later. Scott

has any one noticed any noise from these rotors while driving on the highway w/out braking? i think mine are a bit noisy, almost a hum above 60mph.

If I get them, that wont be a problem. I wont hear it over the exhaust. :D

Humming noise without braking? That is the first I have heard of that. I know the manufacturer says you can expect more noise than stock rotors while braking at high speeds, but like UB2 SLOW, I don't anticipate being able to even hear that over my exhaust.

If the noise you are hearing is actually coming from the brakes, at ANY speed, WITHOUT the brakes beiing applied, then you have a PROBLEM that needs to be checked out.

The slots produce an audible hum without brake application. Completely normal. That is if you have stock exhausts with the windows up with extra insulation and no radio. Ran mine on the stands to check runout and there was a bit of a whoosh, but that is what they do. Mine are slotted and drilled, but assume the same situation.
