Hey all,
Haven't been here for a bit, but just got through with some time on the dyno at a local shop, and managed to squeak some more power out of the Z with a Predator.
2001 Z06 11,900 miles
Halltech T1C
Screen removed from MAF
FLP Long Tube Headers
Hi-Flow Cats (incl with FLP kit)
X-Pipe (incl with FLP kit)
Stock TI Exhaust
Took about 6 passes and some changes within the Predator, but I took my baseline dyno of 360/360 SAE (which was just the Halltech, MAF and FLP mod on stock tune) to 371/362 SAE Corrected (CF 1.00)!!! Yes - it does provide results.
Anyway - LAPD has them in stock if you are interested. Shawn got me mine overnight! Well worth the 425 investment, if you ask me.
Here is the dyno sheet with the before and after. Still need to do some tuning - the wideband o2 was not working, so no A/F results, just power and torque. I decided to quit tuning in the dark once we hit the 371...not worth it and there was some KR issues (gas maybe). Check out my thread (click here) on the z06vette.com website for more details.
