I have a 2003 Coupe, with a CD changer, a single disk in the dash, and I have installed the window valet. Window valet is programmed to turn on the stereo when the windows come down. Sometimes when I hit the unlock button 3 times, the CD player changes the CD that I was playing. For example, I was listening to disk 5 in the changer, but bought a CD & stuck it in the single CD player in the dash to listen. When I unlocked the car next time, not only was it not playing the single disk in the dash, it was playing Disk 1 in the changer . I relocked the car & unlocked it again. Now it was back on disk 5. I have noticed this on several occasions, but not every time I unlocked the car. I am the only driver of the vehicle, so I know someone else hasn't changed which disk was playing. Anybody else experiencing a similar problem? If so, did you find a fix?

HI there,
Something within the window valet is breaking down the communications line between the 2 CD players, creating the condition.
Remove the window valet and you should be fine.

Sounds somewhat strange to me.

Might try reprogramming you keyless entry too.

Now if you hold down the panic button & hit the trunk release and your upstairs toilet flushes…. Time to call the X-files!!
