Problems with Coilovers!

Ok it's back! Less then a week to ship and recieve my completly rebuilt Bilstein, and the best part was it was under $100 :)

I would highly recommed using this service to repair your existing shocks regardless if they are coil overs or not. Much cheaper then buying new.

Here's the link:

That means the Yellow one is headed to BG.

Well I broke another one!

I took the car to get it smogged last week( havn't had it out in a couple months). I don't remember bagning the 2nd very hard, but this morning I drove it to church and heard that clunking sound on every bump.
I havn't pulled the wheel yet but I'am sure thats what it is. This is my third broken shock!
Boosted did your new shock come with the groove cut in to it for the retainer ring?
If so its sound like a much cheeper way to go. I think last time Callaway charged me around a couple hundred bucks plus shipping.

Boy that stinks...

All you need to do is print the PDF file from the link I attatched, send your broken shock, leave the coller for the coil over, and they will simply rebuild it and replace the piston rod that keeps breaking.

$65 for the rebuild
$10 for new piston rod
$$$ for shipping

I had my back in less then a week.

good luck

Boosted Thanks!

I did down load that info last night.
Sorry I asked the question before I opened the site you provided.
Thanks again for the info! SN001
