Production Codes

I have looked at the info here for help determining all of my production codes as listed in the glove box. I could find all but 6.

NF7
R9Z
SLL
UV7
UZ6
VM3

If anyone could point me in the right direction to find out these I would be greatly appreciative.

I don't have all of those, but here are a few that I was able to determine when trying to figure out my codes:

UV7 Windshield Antenna
UZ6 Bose Speaker System
VM3 Label Information

Thanks for the help! Only 4 to go! I have a feeling one of them is for foreign delivery since I took delivery of mine in Germany even though it is a US specs model.

I also started searching for those other codes. I know your Vette isn't a Z06, but the 2001 Z06 page here says that NF7 is "Emission System, Federal, Label".

I think R9Z is your delivery code, as it is listed at this page with other delivery codes as "Control - Sales Item #100".

On the same page, you'll see that SLL is "Order Modification Orders Sold(replaced 1AZ, circa 2001)". Not sure what this means, but it might also have something to do with the fact that you had your Vette delivered to Germany.

Oh! Didn't see "BGR"-- that means "Bowling Green Plant".

I think that covers everything. A couple of those are kinda vague to me, but maybe they'll make more sense to you. Hope this helps. Have fun driving your baby now that you're back in Germany!

Thanks again! I didn't even think to look on the Z06 pages.

I plan on putting all of the codes in my binder of car info so the next owner, if there is one, doesn't have to look it all up.

R9Z and SLL certainly are cryptic to say the least.

And I have been driving. Over 1500 miles in the 2 weeks that I have been back.
