Pulley kits

So...what's the story...do those hypertech pully kits accomplish anything?

I use the March 3 pulley alt kit in my '84.
Works and looks great.

I opted not to use reduction pulleys after my experience with them on my Suburban. I saw virtually NO CHANGE in performance, but MY STEERING EFFORT while parking went way up.


I understand the theory, but, c'mon. How much loss is eliminated, and how much % change is it. Looks, are a different issue.
