Q-Jet need adaptor?

Hey guys, I have to opportunity to buy a rebuild Quadrajet from a '79 L82. I have read many times in this forum about the all around great performance of a properly tuned Q-jet. My questions are; what is the cfm of this unit? For some reason somewhere in the high 700s' sticks in my mind. Also will I need some kind of adaptor for my Holley dual plane Street Dominator intake. Between 750 CFM and 795 CFM.

My original one on the 81 was a computer controlled 795 CFM. I now have a Edelbrock QJet (1903). It is 795 CFM.

750 cfm. You will need an adaptor but it would be better to change to a spreadbore intake.

Hey Tony and Mike, thanks for the replies. Does anyone know the part number for the intake I need. I have an intake GM#14057053 It was off of a 305 I rebuilt years ago. Bud
