I got the polyurethane doughnut shaped mount onto the passenger side of the rebuilt rack w/no prob's. Just wondered if anyone has replaced the other one... the one thats pressed in with the metal sleeve in the center.
That bugger looks to be in there pretty tight. I'm thinking of just leaving it alone. Looks I will have to destroy it to get it out. If I then decide I *have" to send the rack back to autopartsgiant.com I won't have a rubber mount to put back in it. They may not honor the warranty.
Anyway, anybody have a technique for extracting the drivers side rack mount?
