Question About 4 Post Lifts??

I am in the process of installing a 4 post lift in my garage, and am concerned about what effect the floor slope has on the lift?? When I purchased the lift (Autolifters), I asked the company about the slope issue. They said as long as my floor was within 1" drop in 12', I would be OK... I guess most garage floors have a pitch to assist fluids running away, or out the door... I am concerned the lift will be effected by this lean?? Have any of you guys with lifts had issues caused by this??? Thanks, Kurt

I have installed several 4-post lifts (BEND PAK) and in talking to them I put metal shims under the posts to get it level so as to not have any binds. TOM
