Question about Bose System Removal

Hi All,
I am having the stock Bose system removed from my 2000 vert and just wanted to hear from anyone about precautions I should take. I don't want to damage the unit, as it may have to go back in if/when I upgrade.
I'm particularly concerned with the anti-theft system.

HI there,
As long as the antitheft system is not active upon removal of the unit, you will do fine.
Just remember, you will set communications codes with the IPC, BCM and other modules, ALTHOUGH, nothing will be seen unless you are looking for it.
