Question about stock intake and heads

Has anyone seen the stock iron heads on the L98, I just got the intake off and noticed the the heads look like there may be some porting and polishing done, or did the clean up the intake ports on the heads at the factory. The intake also has the head ports polished.

I'm just wondering if this was standard or has someone done some porting and head work here?

They're rough on my '90 so it sounds like yours has had some work done

Hmmmm, that's what I'm thinking, if so it would explain the I have laid on a few unsuspecting victims.

I always thought It pulled really hard and have had problems keeping the wheel spin in control, it got to the point where I would pull away from a light rolling then hammer it, and blow by the victim.

Has anybody used "The right Stuff RTV" on thier intake.

Here is a shot of the intake as it came off, dirt, broken bolts and all.......
