Can anyone who bought replacement emblems for their car (mine's a '75) tell me where they got them, IF they had good quality replacements, and where to avoid? I bought a hood and gas door emblem from Ecklers, manufacturer Trim Parts, and the sun caused the plastic to curl up and crackle within two months. The adhesive also let up, and the checkers in the flags began falling out. I just tried installing the second set I bought to replace them, and the studs for the gas door one were crooked, causing a lopsided mount. The nose emblem mounted fine, except for the fact that they didnt use enough solder or whatever they use to hold the stud on, so it broke off before the nut got halfway on.
So yea, anyone whose had success with replacing their emblems, please let me know where you got 'em so I can have my shiny emblems for the beach!
