i saw these online www.raceramps.com .I would like to start doing my own oil changes and they look perfect.i also saw them at corvette central for
$189.00.do you think its worth it????????:confused

Sorbet,
I have these ramps and they work fine. They are lightweight and I can fit under no problem. I purchased mine through Ecklers for almost the price you listed. After use, they just hang from the straps on the garage wall. They are a bit pricey, but suit me fine. Best of luck.

Rhino Ramps can be had for around $20 bucks on sale, a 1 foot length of 2 by 4 on each and you will clear the plastic air dam. For around $10 I made some ramp extenders. (See my website under C4 mods)

I know all Corvette owners are rich, but almost $200 for plastic ramps is crazy.

thanks for the reply everyone ,
these ramps are not cheap but i think they will pay for themselfs after a couple of uses, the chevy dealer hit me for $79.95
for a mobil 1 oil change, plus i dont want anyone messing with my baby!
later all........:beer

Ramps are handy for a lot of things but remember you need to have the car level or even slighty higher in the rear when you drain the oil.
:w

they will certianly pay for themselves, my grandfather had some metals ones that lasted for a long time, he always did his own oil changes to his truck, and he would say how much he was saving by doing it himself
