I have to flush my engine and radiator on my L98, 130 Kmiles, its about time, cant' say that the anti freeze has ever been changed.
Question: What typ of flush, and brand should I use or not use.
Thanks everyone.

I'm not sure I would flush it, or at least have it professionally done. Most times this can cause problems, that wouldn't normally present itself. I would however drain the system and circulate water, then refill with coolant. That is just my opinion. I have heard the same about transmission type flushes.

Thanks.
There is a lot of sludge type of stuff floating on top of the water / anti-freeze and though it would be a good idea to clean out the engine and radiator before replenishing with new anti -freeze.. This fall I am removing the radiator, anyway, for a clean-out of all the debris an leaves caught up in the front.

That's what I would do.

Think the reasoning behind not power flushing it is because for a car that old, you may not want to dislodge some of the things in there. Or does that apply more to the trans?

I think flushing with water and then a mix of distilled water with a 50/50 mix of a quality coolant will be fine.
