Anyone know where I can find OEM hose clamps? I want to replace some of mine, the spring loaded kind. I don't trust those cheesy band clamps you tighten and can strip.

Thanks.

Paul

PS - Been a LONG time since I've been on the forum.
:confused

I noticed.
Have you checked GM dealers ?

Scav.
:w

Not yet Glenn. I didn't know if they still sold them.

Sorry man, I have been more busy than a long tail cat in a room full of rocking chairs.

Me and wife health problems.

Hi, Paul. Good to see you on the CAC again. Hope you and your wife's health is improving. I would spend more time cruising in the Vette! Sure helps me a lot! :thumb

Try Jason at vette2vette.com He has a salvage yard with mainly C4 and C5 vettes. I am sure he has some OEM hose clamps.

Corvette Central might be a good source, also. They have lots of smaller items for our Vettes.

WHILE CRUISING IN YOUR VETTE, DON'T FORGET TO SAVE THE :w!

Hey, LT4! Good to hear from you and thanks for your suggestions!

Robin went into another diabetic low and broke her elbow.
I had a colonoscopy and have a non-cancrous 50% blockage that is going to need surgery.
The pressure in my eyes is so high I am developing glaucoma.
And I'm only 50! I walk 12-18 miles per day, have logged 3900+ miles now. Not an ounce of fat on me. My doctor said I have the body of a 40 year-old.
Like I said, been very busy.
Other than that Mrs. Lincoln, how'd you like the play?

Paul the junk yards are full of those clamps just take your pliers and ask if can walk around and collect a few of them. Take them home wash them up paint them black and and they will look like new.:boogie

Thanks John. My bust, I haven't been thinking clearly. Really, I have no idea why I didn't think of that!

Paul

Hey Paul, keep up the walking it can't hurt and gives you time for other things as well.;) It's good to have you back. Maybe your thinking just fine and needed some Corvette camaraderie. :w

That's probably right Tom. Hey, newer Vette? NICE!

As far as I am concerned, Tom will always be a C4 Corvette Man!

He might hide out in his new C5, but deep down in his heart, he is one of us! :thumb

AFTER FINDING YOUR HOSE CLAMPS, BE SURE TO SAVE THE :w!

Man, I wish I could hide out in my OWN C5! Maybe someday.
;)

Yea, deep down I'm a C4 guy. Went to a car show today, and several people commented how they really like my car and I told them I had a 94 that I really liked about as well and several people just couldn't understand that.

Well, after driving Junk's I am smitten. I would gladly trade my C4 for a C5. Don't get me wrong, I love my Vette, I just love the different body style.
:upthumbs
