Help!! I have read the former threads on replacing the BOSE with an aftermarket radio and I saw a mention of an adaptor that has a shelf under where the radio fits. Who makes this and where can I get it? Checked Crutchfield but didn't see it listed. I am replacing the whole Bose system and could use some recommendations on what brand receiver/CD player is the best. I have looked at Calrion, Kenwood, Pioneer, and Alpine. I am replacing the 4 speakers and might add an amp. This is a 91 Convert. so I want to be able to crank it up. Any help would be appreciated. I know this has been discussed in the past but no one mentioned where they got this adaptor plate. Thanks.

Craig,

Thanks for the info. I Im'd them to see if they have the right adaptor.

No problem,

Glad I can help you.

I just started a performance shop and I'm selling Car audio and this is one of the suppliers that I'm using for the adaptors.

Check out Blauplunkt, they have some new systems on the market this year and the prices are really good.
