rag joint

I am replacing my rag joint and using a kit. The supplied Pins in the kit are 2 differant sizes. Please look at the attached pictures and you'll see what I mean. Any differance as to which pin goes where??

Rob,
If you're using one of those $15 rebuild kits do yourself a big favor and throw it out. They are garbage, use the GM assembled rag joint only as shown in the referenced page.

I agree - the "repair kit" is junk, has hokey fasteners and secondary safety pins, and your horn won't work (no ground strap in the rubber disc). I can't imagine why they take on the liability of selling this stuff for a primary safety system. Buy the rag joint - steering is no place to save money.
