HI, Looking for info on the 4+3 trans and ran across CAC, saw interesting threads and wanted to join. just bought a C4, had and sold a C3. Thanks

Not than I'm an expert by no means but the 4+3 transmission although interesting if nothing else. appears to me from a lot I've read it was an attempt to get better mileage, but to have that many OD's seems redundant if not a marketing ploy, way too complicated and very little or no benefits!! Why not just have a 5 or 6-speed? Which is what was done in the end anyway :crazy:crazy:crazy:crazy+ :crazy:crazy:crazyThink goodness someone said lets just add a gear or two :duh
