Random Tech Cat???

Anyone installed a random tech cat on their '84 vette?????
If so......are you happy with the xtra flow...if any????

A while back on another board someone posted a link to a site that had the actual flow numbers of a lot of the more popular CATs. Random wasn't the best flowing either, which surprised me since they sure cost enough..

I don't remember the link, but if memory serves the link was posted on the CorvetteForum.com site. You might want to do a seach and see if you ca track it down.

I'm sure the folks here would appreciate the info too.

random now has a SS bullet cat that flows 530 CFM which is pretty goodn (pricey though!!). not sure, but I think the truck cats flow better but are pretty big and may not fit in the C4 tranny well.

at least for an '84 vette.........the lowest vette....But I don't think sooooooo.....
