rear camera

my rear camera is wired to the back up lights and will only come on when the transmission is in reverse...but I would like to have the option of turning it on and off, my screen has the on and off buttons what I need to know, is where can I find live wire in the rear of my vette to connect it to?

The fuel pump would have a 12V as long as the key is in the "on" position.
Other than that, I don't know of any power source in the back.
You could always run an extra wire to use as power.

The fuel pump wire is out, I was hoping that there was another way besides running a wire to the rear...

I don't know of any other source of 12V in the rear of a C6, but i'm not very familiar with the wiring scheme of hte C6 either.

Maybe someone else with more knowledge can post.
