Rear Defogger

Need some help in determining why my Rear Defogger does not work on a 1979 Corvette. All other accessories in the Vette work. It obviously is not the fuse, where should I look? I understand that there is a relay and a ground but don't know where they are located. Can anyone provide some input as to where to look and what to start with? Thanks...Jeff.

Is the defective control timer assembly the relay? Can we still get these parts? I have seen the switch but what about the above mentioned part?

I believe so. I have not seen this part in any of the catalogs. Might be a eBay thing or one of the Corvette salvage yards.
