Has anyone ever installed a drain plug for the differential? Or, know of an easy way to change the fluid without tearing it all apart?

Seriously, you make it out to be a hard job and it's not. I can do both axles on my Jeeps in about 45 minutes, taking my time. I like to inspect the ring and pinion for signs of premature wear. You add ten minutes to the job (only one axle). If you are not concerned about the condition of your gears, the drain plug is the way to go, I guess.
I just look at a few more minutes as cheap insurance and piece of mind.
