Rear fascia sag

HI everyone
Does anyone have any input about the rear fascia sagging from what appears to be exhaust heat? It is starting on our 2001 convertible and I ordered the reinforcements from MidAm but I can't help wonder if such damage should be covered under warranty. I have a Corsa exhaust. Any trhoughts??

Interesting post.....makes me think I should get back to the local dealer and ask again. Of the two dealerships I contacted, no one ever heard of this. I did get the reinforcements in today from MidAm and will post before and after pics this weekend.

I was told that this problem happens more on Vette that had their exhaust replced with aftermarket one due to the fact that they produce more heat. This is what i was told, I don't know if it is correct so don't quote me.
