Question: Rear leaf spring options

Thanks for the input. For now I want it sitting right and looking better than it is now. While trying to lower the steering wheel to remove the bezel I came across this

That doesn't look right. Possibly some security measure. Can anyone tell me what those wires do and where they should be connected?

Progress is slow and painful.
New FPR but the bitch still won't start.

Got the wheels done. Today I hope to get the rear suspension done even with the rain.

Finally suspension is done. Wheels done.

Pulled the injectors.
This was one of the better ones.

Any hint and or suggestions?
All I have here is carb cleaner spray.

Btw this was in the position of the glovebox.

Got a new glovebox, rear carpet and am test fitting a C5 armrest.
