Hi

The hazing really makes me crazy even though that's the way they came. Being that the wheels have only 13,000 miles on them does it pay to have them redone or just buy another set. Or better yet just live with them!

It's such a hassle to find somebody that does this in New Jersey and then l have to leave the vette and then worry about the sensor's and scratches when the old ones come off and the new ones come on.

Alan

Hazing was a GM problem

When the vette was deliveres there was a slight haxing under the clearcoat that cannot be polished out without taking off the clearcoat and then repolishing the wheel and then re clearcoating it.

I was not looking for them to be chromed.

Chrome or Polished Aluminum...

Thanks for the honesty on the chrome, even though they look good in digital pic's

Alan

I'd keep the original ,but buy a set of chrome. It's really hard to beat chrome and even tough my polished wheels are very good on my 03 ,the 07 I ordered will be chrome without a dought. Steve

Because l only have a chance to drive my vette maybe once a week and if the weather isn't nice l take another car does it really matter what the wheels are made out of?

Alan

Well Alan all I can go buy is your statement that they drive you crazy. What you might want to do is go by any high end auto store and just look at chome wheels. Not the style but the finish.I've seen chrome wheel cars next to mine and i'd go chrome dispite my wheels are pretty good.I wish you luck Alan on a tough one.
