Remote entry question

I am in need of a second remote and a friend offered to sell me his. It is the same year (99) and the same passive type remote. The question is can it be re-programed for my car by going through the procedure in the owners manual?

Yes it can be reprogrammed for your car.
Just a note. When you program the one from your friend the one you already have will have to be programmed also. Just do one as FOB 1 and the second as FOB 2 and you should be fine.
