can any one tell me how to get out the body bushings with out snaping the bolts .im trying to replace them on a 1974 coupe any help we would be grateful .thanks

Wire brush the threads if possible and spray with PB Blaster for a few days.

The body mounts are my current PITA project on the 1980.

I broke the #1 driver's side bolt by twisting (and the threads were clean) - no real problem at all. However the bolt for the #3 passenger's side mount had to be cut. Removing the remnants of that bolt is my current "hobby". LOL

Hope you are lucky and don't have any problems.

thanks but what is pb blaster .we sprayed with rust eater two days ago .it is a marine product for frozen bolts under the water line but its not working it is the strongest stuff i know

Use an impact gun if you have the room. It will break a frozen bolt loose easier then a steady pull.
