Some of my dash parts are scratched causing the paint to chip off (ie. Cup holder cover). Is there any paint that you can get to replace the original color? I have that silver grey color.

Thanks

thanks alot B17Crew, that looks exactly what im looking for....has anybody ever used this stuff before or anything similiar

Yes, I have used the paint in the recent past. It goes on surprisingly evenly, considering it is a metallic paint. I'd suggest doing all the dash pieces, not just doing the areas that are chipped, so you have fresh color all over, and each piece will then match.

I sprayed each coat in alternate directions (across and diagonal) to make sure I covered the areas well. It turned out very well with little fuss. Be sure the surfaces are clean and dry. Using a commercial "wax and grease remover" is a good idea beforehand. You should be able to find it at most larger auto parts stores, and also automotive paint stores. If you take your time, I am sure you'll be very happy with the results.

Its good to hear that someone has used the stuff and is happy with it. After hearing that im glad that i ordered it. Should be here in a few days, and will give the interior a nice newer look! :D

Good luck with that. I had the rubber-feeling paint on my dash and after attempting to repaint myself, I ended up having to just replace with a new one.

Good luck. :beer

Yeah, I had the same concern in my mind. Is there a repair for the "rubber-feeling paint" of the center console (where the ashtray / shifter are)??? The rubbery stuff is peeling off in a few places and I do not know what do do with that.

Cheers all,

Selim

well i painted all my grey metallic parts with that paint from mid america and it turned out great. All the parts look brand new. I would recommend it to anyone. Great stuff:D
