Not that I have a budget to do any of this professionally, but, what do you guys suggest on these eye sores/wear?

Seats look like an elephant skin.
Center Console - paint chips
Passenger Side - front and rear wheels have curb rash, scuff on right front quarter panel, scratch on underside bodypanel behind door, bad "repair job" just above scratch and ahead of rear tire, cracked corner marker. Seems first owner side swiped something and repainted the door and did not repair everything.
Driver Side - scuff mark/attempted keying? Tried buffing it out, less noticable, but not gone.

Here are a few pics of what I am up against.

scuff on front passenger quarterpanel.

Runs are not in paint.(rear hatch corners- water run off that I missed)
Looks like bad repair job to me. Have a few scratches in the paint on the panel below this.

I clean and feed these. But they were like this when I got it.

Cracked only this one. Right front.

This site has some info on interior and bumper repair. http://www.batee.com/corvette/

Saddle soap and elbow grease work pretty good on the leather.

Junk yard search for the turn signal

Can’t help with the wheels or paint

Are you guys playing a Memorial Day gig?

:pat

Thanks for the info!
Yes, have a show at Corky's BBQ/next to the Grand Casino in Biloxi, MS on Sunday(4-8). Then a private on Monday for a buddy of mine who owns a strip club in Mobile, AL.

The console top has a soft coating on it. This cant be repaired and look right. GM may still service this part. Same for the park/signal lamp. You may find them after market in some of the vette wish books.

If you want a new look to the seat covers you will need to replace. You can buy just about any seat cover by trim code in a corvette parts book. You just need to shop around for the best deal on alot of these parts.

The wheels can be bought reman for about $150.00 with your old wheel as a trade in. These reman wheels are just as nice as a brand new one at a lot lower cost. You can not tell them apart from new oem.

The body damage is very light. This is not some thing a novice body tech wants to try. It might just look like a little spot to a lot of people but it takes the know how to keep this spot small and blend in the paint. It can be blended with base coat and clear and kept small with out refinishing the whole panel.

Your Corvette looks very nice and I can tell you care for it. Good luck and just yell if you have any more questions.

Thanks. Looks like you have done quite well in collecting some very very nice vettes yourself.

This one is our first. Susan has always wanted one and we pretty much bought this one with only a few weeks' of knowledge about Corvettes.
The price was right, but for a reason. She still needs the weather striping replaced too.
We are the third owners and it seems neither of the first two were enthusiasts, just looking for a sports car.(well, first owner used it as a daily driver, 2nd parked it for the year in his garage and only put 100 miles on it)

Going to ask my new friends in the local vette club about that poor repair on the Passenger's side. Wish I was sitting on the money for two new wheels but it looks like it wont happen until the end of the summer.

Thanks again for your advice here. I am taking on each project as time and funding presents itself.

Have a good one
