Help! Replacing C6 driver door glass

Has anyone replaced C6 driver door glass?
What will I run into after removing driver side door panel?
How is the glass attached to the door glass regulator?

HI there,

The glass is retained into the door by 2 clamp type assemblies that are permanently set to the window regulator cable/track assembly.

As long as you are NOT replacing the regulator/module assembly, its a straight forward swap.

MAKE CERTAIN the window is in the FULL UP position when you are doing it. This will allow reference marks used on the glass and correct torque on the clamp fasteners.

Thank You for this valuable information.
I haven't been in the plant since December 18, 2009 and couldn't remember the installation of door glass on the special door line.
I'm proud of Team Corvette at the Vehicle Engineering Center in Warren Michigan 48090 and UAW local 2164 in Bowling Green Kentucky for building World Glass Quality Corvette's.
My driver door glass was chipped due to dealer.
My Painted lift off roof panel was replaced. Number one pan head screw wasn't seated for the drip/moulding. The screw head chipped the glass edge.
I'll change the glass myself.
I'm familiar removing door pad without any damage.
The dealer can't be trusted to work on Covette.
